Characteristics
Disc springs are made from high-quality materials to ensure durability and performance under demanding conditions. The most commonly used material is stainless steel, such as AISI 301 (DIN 1.4310), which is suitable for applications with thicknesses up to 2 mm. For greater thicknesses or enhanced temperature resistance, AISI 631 (DIN 1.4568) is preferred. In extreme environments requiring superior corrosion resistance and non-magnetic properties, Inconel 718 (DIN 2.4668) is employed. These materials provide excellent resistance to environmental factors, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Additionally, coatings can be applied to improve corrosion resistance further.
